ABOUT REV. EUGENE DYSZLEWSKI

Rev. Dyszlewski [pronounced dish-lef-ski] is an ordained minister in both the United Church of Christ and American Baptist Church. He currently serves as pastor at Lime Rock Church and holds a position as Community Minister at First Unitarian Church Providence.

He is a religious leader and community activist, who has served churches in Rhode Island and in Delaware. He has contributed years of community service having served on the boards of directors of numerous human service organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interfaith Counseling Center, a mental health program supportive of Faith Communities.

He has served on the boards of several civil rights organizations, including Marriage Equality Rhode Island. As Chair of the Religious Coalition for Marriage Equality, Rev. Dyszlewski played a leading role in the recently successful GLBT civil rights campaign in Rhode Island. He is a member of the Rhode Island Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and the Rhode Island InterFaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty.

Prior to his service in ministry, he worked as a licensed professional counselor serving as director of addiction and general practice mental health clinics in New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Rev. Dyszlewski has earned a graduate degree in Theology from Niagara University and degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University. Rev. Dyszlewski lives in Cranston with his wife of 43 years, Margaret Paccione, Ph.D., a Bradley Hospital Psychologist.
